“…they rehearsed all that God had done with them…” (Acts 14:27)

“HAPPY IN THE SERVICE OF THE KING”

The Lord has graciously brought us through the busiest three months we have had in evangelism! These have been out of breath days, a marathon of meetings, that have reminded us of the absolute necessity of God’s sustaining grace. His strength truly is made perfect in weakness.

Again and again I have been reminded that there is an end to every servant's energy - but there is no exhausting the power of our Master. I am grateful for the Lord’s enabling at every step, and praise God more than ever for those who hold us up faithfully in prayer. Thank you.

Since January, I have had the privilege of preaching 116 times in 12 states. 44 precious souls have responded to profess their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and it has been especially encouraging to see genuine revival stirrings in churches across the country. I am thrilled that Tammy is now able to travel with me much of the time. It is a blessing to invest together in fellow preachers and their families.

God is opening a host of doors to speak to pastors, young preachers, and Christian workers. We are praying for those who are in the harvest in these days and asking God for many more laborers. Time is short and eternity is near.

When you pray...

-Pray for health, energy, and spiritual strength for each meeting.

-Pray for the amazing people who labor on our team. Their work enables me to

stay on the road while continuing to provide new resources. We could not do

all that God has given us to do without so many who are heart deep in this effort.

-Pray for our ETJ evangelists and the host of meetings they are in. God is using

each of them in unique ways to help pastors and reach people.

-Pray for God’s favor on upcoming Enjoying the Journey events and gospel

projects. We would love for you to join us this year!

Because we had scheduled out several years, we felt it best to pause scheduling for a time. Pray with me for wisdom to know how we can best invest our time, energy, and resources moving forward. You can view the itinerary for the rest of 2025 at enjoyingthejourney.org/events.

Weariness is a real, but the joy of the Lord gives strength that helps us to press on. The Apostle Paul expressed the heart of a happy servant of Jesus when he wrote, “I will very gladly spend and be spent for you” (2 Corinthians 12:15). It is a privilege to serve Christ and His churches.

Serving the Lord with gladness,

NEW "Witness" Page

We praise God for how He is continuing to bless the work of Enjoying the Journey. The team has traveled to dozens of meeting in over 10 states. We had the privilege of hosting another Young Preachers Summit in Indiana and a Gospel Advance at our home church! We are so excited for how the Lord is using the resources, preaching, and teaching of God's Word to strengthen believers around the country (and around the world).

NEW SERIES: YOU CAN KNOW

There are many things I do not know. I do not know what Washington will do tomorrow. I do not know what Wall Street will do this week. I do not know what world governments will do this year. Life is full of unknowns, and the most troubling are the ones that affect you personally.

In fact, there are many things that are simply unknowable because of our limited understanding and finite minds. Education, information, and intuition can never answer the deep, spiritual questions of life. Only God can do that.

There have been seasons in my life that were shrouded by the dark clouds of doubt, days when nothing seemed clear. (Read more about that here.) Those have been the times that I have learned to go back to what I know for sure. God’s Word is always true and the Bible is a book of divine assurances. You will not know all that God knows but you can know what God has made known!

The little book of 1 John is one of the portions of Scripture that God has used in my life to bring Bible assurance. Yes, you can know! You can know that you are one of God’s children. You can know that you have eternal life. You can know that the Lord is with you.

The first episode in this brand new podcast series started today. Tune in at ETJ.Bible or on any podcast platform. Plan to listen and share it with others. Download the “23 Birthmarks of the Believer” handout HERE. In a world of questions and confusion, I am glad to tell you – You Can Know!

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God” (1 John 5:13).

(When our new study ends, Scott Pauley will take another week to answer listener questions. You may submit a question to questions@enjoyingthejourney.org.)
